Here’s what a mini bespoke interiors consultation with us at Aconite Interiors actually looks like…
We will have the kettle on ready!
So, first we chat over coffee and biscuits. We will talk about your ideas (and probably a bit about what you have been up to) - don’t worry it’s all very relaxed and friendly.
If replacing something you already have we will discuss what was working and what wasn’t.
Do you need blackout blinds for a better sleep?
Interlined curtains for warmth?
Voiles for privacy but to keep all the light?
Or maybe you are just ready for a refresh?
We will look at the details:
Rough measurements
Any inspiration or visual aids you have - magazine cuttings, photos, paint swatches…
And look through any photos of the space (if you’ve brought them along).
Next… the best bit… FABRICS
We will guide you through some fabric choices from our library of curated swatch books. Pulling books, designs and trims that we think we will work best for you.
Don’t worry if you don’t like anything we show you, we will NOT be offended. Please tell us, we WANT to know what you dislike aswell as what you LOVE. We have thousands of options available, this will help you narrow down the search.
From this we will order you a selection of fabric samples for you to try at home. Viewing designs under the lighting in our workshop can be very different to that of your home.
We will drop you an email or phone call we your sample pack is ready to collect.
At the end of your consultation we’ll talk through the estimate process, timings and what happens if you’d like to go ahead.
Everything is transparent and straightforward.
