Transformation: From tired to showstopper…

The Brief: Fun, fresh and timeless 🌿

This tired, well-loved chaise longue was in need of a bit of a glow up. This charming little piece had been snapped up at a local auction and carefully stored away, patiently awaiting a much needed glow up.

As the brief was fun and fresh, we naturally reached for The Pure Edit fabric books.
Their Sustainable Print collections offered a wonderful selection of choices and felt like the perfect option.
Green was a definite direction for the overall scheme.
BUT did we choose a painterly botanical or a more subtle textured polka dot?
And for finishing - dramatic contrast piping or a softer self piped look?

Well what can we say… what a TRANSFORMATION.

The chaise was fully reupholstered and piped in The Pure Edit FR fabric, giving it a fresh, durable finish. The dark feet were replaced with a more in-keeping tapered style to complement the overall look. A coordinating throw cushion was also added for extra comfort and style.
